General awareness may help you develop stronger business knowledge and prepare for MBA interviews. However, candidates should know one important fact before using these SNAP general awareness questions: SNAP does not currently have a separate General Awareness or General Knowledge section.
The questions below are a supplementary practice resource. They are not previous-year SNAP questions and should not replace preparation for the sections that are actually tested.
As of August 5, 2026, the official SNAP website has opened enquiries for SNAP 2026. The latest detailed official structure currently available is labelled SNAP 2025 and lists three sections totalling 60 questions. The official FAQ also directly states that SNAP has no GK section. Candidates should check the final SNAP 2026 bulletin in case the structure is updated.
| SNAP Section | Questions |
|---|---|
| General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability | 15 |
| Analytical and Logical Reasoning | 25 |
| Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency | 20 |
| Total | 60 |
The latest detailed official pattern also states that the test lasts 60 minutes and carries a 25% negative mark for every incorrect answer.

The latest official information does not include a General Awareness or GK section. The latest detailed structure lists General English, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency. The official FAQ directly answers “No” when asked whether SNAP has a GK section.
Current affairs should not take priority over the three tested sections under the presently published pattern. However, broader awareness can be useful for MBA interviews and the later GE-PI admission process. Shortlisted candidates participate in institute-specific selection processes after the SNAP result.
No. This is a supplementary practice set covering business, finance, international institutions, geography and science. It should not be presented as an official or memory-based SNAP question paper.
Prioritise the sections that appear in the official pattern:
Use mock tests to develop question selection, speed and accuracy under the 60-minute test limit.
Review corporate-leadership, international-membership and monetary-policy answers at least once a month during the examination season. Recheck all such facts immediately before publishing an updated edition or attending an MBA interview.
General awareness can help you participate more confidently in MBA interviews and business discussions, but it should remain a supplementary component of SNAP preparation under the current pattern.
